Many people believe estate planning is complete the moment a will is signed. In reality, that's just the beginning. An effective estate plan is about more than paperwork. It's about the people you love: providing for them financially, protecting family relationships, and creating clarity during an emotional time.
Join Kimelman & Baird and guest speaker Justin Goldberg, a trusts and estates (T&E) attorney at Moses & Singer, LLP, for a conversation covering:
- Who makes decisions on your behalf, and how healthcare proxies and powers of attorney differ
- Whether your assets are titled in a way that reflects your true intentions
- How to choose executors and trustees who can prevent family conflict, not create it
- How delays, probate, and taxes can affect your loved ones if left unaddressed
- Why an estate plan should evolve alongside your life
Whether you're creating your first estate plan or revisiting one that may no longer reflect your life, this session is designed to leave you with greater clarity and confidence.
